A little news for your Tuesday

Nothing too major to report here to your Tuesday, nothing like, say, oh Nate Davis has a separated shoulder. That would be bad, that'd be very bad.

I will mention a few things here. In normal years, I'd probably dedicate an entire post to this, but since it appears we're going to be getting a lot of publicity this year, I'll just slide this in. On ESPN's First Take, they talked about Brandon Crawford for a couple minutes. I think in a month from now, his entire story will be memorized by everyone in the United States. But it's a good thing, we love Crawdaddy.

If you need more Crawdaddy, check out The Star Press' Reel Time With The Cardinals, where Doug Zaleski has a 10 minute interview. VERY good interview, definitely worth a look.

Coach Brady Hoke says there will be changes on kickoff and kickoff return, but of course, no specifics are mentioned.

The anticipation for Saturday's game is building.

Chris Korman of the Bloomington Herald-Times sets it up for readers to shoot down the notion that Ball State is worthy of an AP vote.

The Indianapolis Star's Terry Hutchens makes an interesting note as to why this game is important.

The Daily News' Ryan Wood has a story about Darius Hill's butterfingers.

According to HoosierNation.com, IU starting safety Austin Thomas is doubtful for the showdown.

And finally, the Hoosiers are ready to play after having a bye week last week.
