MiQuale and Derrick, you're fine men

Congratulations to MiQuale Lewis and Derrick Henry, who continue a strong run of Ball State excellence so far this week. Lewis was named the MAC West Offensive Player of the Week and Henry picked up defensive honors.

Lewis tied the school single-game record with four rushing touchdowns. Lewis gained 166 rushing yards on 29 attempts for a 5.7 yards per carry average. It was his third consecutive game with 100-plus rushing yards. He twice scored on runs from one yard and added scores from two and three-yards out. Lewis scored the Cardinals first two touchdowns for a 14-6 lead, and then helped BSU close out the game by scoring the team’s last two touchdowns.

Henry had a team-high nine tackles and a tackle for a loss in the Cardinals 42-20 win at Indiana. Henry led a BSU defense that allowed just one touchdown in the game and no points in the second half.
