Oooh lookie at that them there Top 25 Polls

What we have is a landmark day here on this Lazy Sunday.

The Ball State football team actually received votes in both the Associated Press and Coaches Poll. The Cardinals are 43rd in both polls, with two votes in the coaches and one in the AP.

I'm willing to surmise that it's been a long time since Ball State has had votes in either poll. We'll have to wait for Monday's press release but I'm going to guess the last time that happened was in 1996 when the Cards may have actually been in the Top 25 for a week or so.

Someone on the BSUFans message board asked if Jason Whitlock is a member of the AP voting, and the answer is....yes. Well, now I'm not so sure. I clicked on Poll Votes, and the last time that appeared to be updated was 2006. So I don't know where the newest ones could be found. If anyone knows, feel free to let me know.
