Sorry, elitist IU fans, the Hoosiers just aren't as good as lowly Ball State from the MAC

We'll be back tomorrow morning with TSBB Morning Quarterback, but just a few things here.

- The posters over at Peegs are up in arms about our performance

- It's our first-ever win against a BCS team

- The 42-20 score wasn't even close to an indicator...56-20 seemed more realistic

- A HUGE tip of the hat to defensive coordinator Mark Smith (the first time that's ever happened), Kellen Lewis was contained for the entire second half

- I can't say enough about MiQuale Lewis and his performance — 164 yards, four touchdowns. Just another day at the office.

- How big was Myles Trempe's touchdown reception?? Unbelievable. And huge, coming right after the Love injury.

- Ball State's offensive line was DOMINANT. They had their way with Indiana's defensive line.

- And of course, Nate. 16-of-25, 241 yards, one touchdown, barely looked like he worked. And that late run for first down on 3rd and long is what makes him so special.

- 461 yards of offense. Holler.

We'll be back tomorrow.

Trempe's TD reception was big? How about he throw??? I say this a lot, but I can't imagine Nate Davis has ever made a more impressive on the run throw than that. Off his back foot, with a Hoosier lineman on his tail, heading for the sideline, and he goes right on the money, 45 yards in the air to Trempe for the score. And barely 2 minutes after the injury. THAT proved to me that BSU has the 'gut-check factor'.

If the Cards come that ready all year, I don't see any way they lose before that CMU game. Even if - Lord forbid - Dante is out a while.
